IDENTA Corp. has appointed International Product Development LLL as a Regional Distributor for its products in the USA.

Yaacov Shoham, CEO of Identa Corp., has been invited by IPD to participate in a series of important demonstrations and presentations to law enforcement, businesses and educational institutions in the US.

Identa Corp. has announced its intention to increase its level of activities in the US market during the year of 2004.  For that purpose, it has signed a distribution agreement with International Product Development (IPD), headed by Ruth Radnan-Skibin.  Due to the enthusiastic response from potential customers, IPD has invited Mr. Shoham to participate in a series of important demonstrations and presentations to leaders in law enforcement, education and certain businesses in the US.  Mr. Shoham is arriving in NY on January 7^th, 2004 and will be meeting with a number of interested parties.  He will use this time to train IPD and its US network in preparation for the increase in commercial activities anticipated during 2004.

IPD is developing product awareness and industry knowledge through its planned participation in regional and national events throughout the United States.  Anti-drug and governmental associations have been targeted; Mr. Shoham and IPD are in the process of establishing the marketing platform necessary to bring the Identa Drug Detection Field Tests (DDFT) into the field with the goal of making the products the de-facto industry standard.

Discussions are also taking place with a number of retail chains with the view to placing the retail version of the DDFT on the shelves. The first CVS order has now been dispatched to the US and will be available to the end user within the next couple of weeks.
